Although I will miss Long Beach, my path has lead me to the weirdest city in the US: Austin, TX. Of course, I couldn’t make a move halfway across the country without making a little road trip of it! So, moving truck already in tow, I fit as much as I could in my car and left with my dog without looking back.
Is this real? Less than a week and I’ll be in Ireland
As the final days before my big trip to Ireland and London come to a halt, I start to feel the panic coming on. I am so excited and nervous at the same time—I can barely contain my emotions while talking about it. I’m so excited; I got work up at 1:00am this morning to finish this blog. I’ve been counting down the days and probably annoying a lot of people while doing so.
I decided that in order to calm my nerves, I should write about why I chose to do this study abroad experience in the first place, and how I’m preparing for it. I hope it may help any students thinking about studying abroad in the future.
Traveling to Europe forced me to start blogging
After many years of telling myself that it was something I should do, I have decided that it's time for me to begin blogging. I believe I have some interesting insight to provide regarding personal branding as an almost-college graduate who has had the advantage of being on the other side interviews (the employer). Truth be told: I'm mostly excited to journal my adventures while studying abroad this winter!
